stock markets may indeed remain open on Saturday, February 28, when Finance Minister Arun Jaitley presents the Union Budget.

Currency Derivatives markets will also remain open on Saturday, February 28, on account of presentation of Union Budget.

NSE clarified in a late circular today that there WILL NOT be a live trading Currency Derivatives segment and it shall remain closed on February 28, 2015.

MCX and NCDEX also delclared a live trading session for commodity futures from 10 am to 5 pm (day session) on February 28, 2015.
